From the national website, A Hamburger Today, comes a post titled, “30 Great Cheeseburgers We’ve Eaten This Year“:

In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, we’re rounding up 30 great cheeseburgers we’ve eaten so far this year. (We could pick more than 30, but we had to draw the line somewhere.) If you weren’t hungry before, you will be soon.

There were only five local eateries among the top 30 including The LAB. From L.A. premier burger blogger Damon Gambuto:

“The Lab Burger is made up of some impressive ingredients. The patty is eight ounces of Wagyu clod and sirloin beef sourced from the very good and reliable Premier Meat and ground in house. Megji adds some caramelized onions, bacon, blue and Gruyère cheese, and arugula. Those of you familiar with the LA burger scene are probably nodding with recognition about now; the Lab Burger owes a debt to the iconic (and overrated) Father’s Office burger. The Lab takes an important turn with their choice of putting all of these high-end components on the very good La Brea Bakery brioche bun.”

Oktoberfest 2012 at The Lab!

Come celebrate Oktoberfest 2012 with us at The Lab!

 

 

 

 

 

We’re sticking to true German Oktoberfest timelines and celebrating from Sept 22nd but letting the party go until Oct 14th with a nice big Oktoberfest bash Sunday Oct 7th. We’ve designed some really nice liter beer mugs that will be avaliable for purchase prior to the festivites, and if you buy one you can come back as much as you like during Sept 22nd – Oct 14th and get that 32oz glass filled with Lab Brew for only $7! That’s right, it’s like getting a free pint!

Then on Sunday Oct 7th we’ll have our Oktoberfest blowout party complete with a German Oompah Band, Bavarian Food Specials, Stein Holding Competitions, and staff dressed in fun German bier fest attire!

Agoura Town Center Summerfest August 19th!!

August 19th! Save the date!

The Agoura Hills Town Center (The center where we are located) is holding an outdoor Summerfest on August 19th Noon – 4pm. Our front parking lot will be converted into a festival with FREE Beer and Wine Samples, FREE Food, and FREE Entertainment including Bands, DJs, and a fashion show. We will also raffle off several gift baskets each valued at over $200 and all the proceeds go to benefit Casa Pacifica. The shops and restaurants will of course be open on this day and will also donate 10% of proceeds to Casa Pacifica. Come enjoy a great day while supporting a worthy cause!

The Lab will also have Live Reggae starting right at 4pm so you can move the party from the parking lot into The Lab!

Fathers Day Local Tap Takeover Weekend at The Lab!

Come on down to The Lab for Fathers Day Weekend and give Dad what he really wants, a few tasty pints of local Brew and some great grub! We’ll be filling up just all of our 31 taps with great local brews from Enegren, Golden Road, Ladyface, Surf, Wolf Creek, and of course Lab brews! What a perfect what to celebrate Dad and rejoice in the fact that the local Craft Beer scene is booming around our town!

We’ll also have our taco bar on the back patio with drink specials all weekend for Pops, and with Happy Hour Saturday from 3-7pm and ALL DAY SUNDAY even those who are not Dads will be sure to have a great time!
