Wow! Tuesday was an awesome night. We had a great, fun, crowd and appreciate all who participated. And thanks to the Lagunitas Brewing Company for joining forces with Chef Moez and Brewmaster Roger “Dr Hops” Bott to make this night possible. BTW, blogger Chef Lars has a review of the night already posted. Now onto the photos:
The opening reception
featured Lagunitas Pils, artisan
cheeses and crudite. But the highlight was the format which allowed for mingling and
meeting many new people.
Waiting at your table after the first course mixer was the
gorgeous menu above which certainly served to wet this person’s appetite.
The Fennel Frissee with in house made censored citrus dressing
was served with Lagunitas Censored
Ale.
Lagunitas Brewing Company rep Sam Naft (left) with a Lab
waitress.
The Saffron
Risotto with Bay Scallops was served with Lagunitas Little Sumpin’
Sumpin’. Both were delicious!
We had a fantastic turnout
(partial crowd shot above) and thank everyone who came out for this special night.
The IPA Braised Short Ribs with
gorgonzola and spinach mash were served with Lagunitas IPA.
The Wild
Mushroom and Mascarpone Polenta was served with Lagunitas IPA.
The Cheesecake with Cappuccino Stout Reduction was served with
Lagunitas
Cappuccino Stout (links to video).
Roger, I stumbled across your Restaurant Review on the Agoura Hills Patch. I wish Jean and I could be there this father’s day to dine in your restaurant. Good luck to you and everyone else in the business. We miss you and your mother bunches…garth
